Just About Anything Music

Here it is my very own blog about music. I have more than 8 thousand songs in my laptop and listen to music just about everyday. I was a dj for some events and created music too. Any type of music whether it is Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, even Country is what I enjoy to listen to. I just can't get enough of music.

I guess its my love life for now lol. Just to give everyone out there who is reading this an idea who I am. My name is Juan but I go by Manuel or Manny because it is my middle name and I have always went by my middle name throughout my whole life almost. I just think Juan isn't me.

Anyways my love of music began when I was around 7 yrs old and the first type of music that I really listened to was 80's and mexican music. I remember the first time I really paid attention to music was when I listened to the group "Wham" on a cassette tape that my mom had and I enjoyed listening to the songs "Careless Whisper" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go-go" and sang with the chorus out loud on her bed. Even Michael Jackson was my favorite growing up.

Music has a deeper meaning to me as some music play with my feelings and let me just think away about the lyrics. According to myself a great song isn't necessarily one that is  usually on the radio. Just because a song is on the radio doesn't mean it's a great song. The songs that impact me the most are the ones with a deeper meaning or are a part of my life or also is a song of the moment.

Good music should be the essence of our culture. We can reflect much of what we hear on the radio with the behavior of people here at this time. An example is Nicki Minaj and her influence. I am a college student and have many friends. Most of the girls who listen to Nicki Minaj have now call themselves bad bitches and try to act like her. Anyways this is a whole other situation that I can write about a different day.

I hope everyone can enjoy my blog and the things I write about. Have a great day.

Here I leave with you a video of my favorite song and video of all time by none other than the king of pop. RIP. enjoy:)
